As one of the large, national supermarkets in De Korf, Jumbo plays an important role in the provision of daily purchases in the shopping center. Today, the renewed store of the Dutch supermarket chain has been reopened to the public with great interest.
De Korf, dating from the 1970s, is currently undergoing a thorough redevelopment for the purpose of modernization, sustainability and future-proofness that we are carrying out together with, among others, Nieuw Holland Projectontwikkeling. Among other things, richly detailed new brickwork provides both the inside, which is designed as a shopping street, and the outside of the shopping center, with a completely renewed timeless appearance.
The center fulfills an important function in Krimpen a / d IJssel: the great diversity of shops makes it a sought-after center for both daily and non-daily purchases. The fully renovated De Korf is expected to be delivered at the end of 2020.
