Van der Vorm Poland acquires 291 properties in Cracow
Since today we are the proud owner of the Trio complex in Krakow, Poland's second city. In residential numbers, this purchase is our largest acquisition ever, and fits the ambition to build our position in Poland with high-quality real estate. The Polish portfolio now consists of approximately 800 units, built up since 2019.
Trio Krakow contains 139 student housing units, 152 apartments and a 155-space garage. It has a great location within walking distance of the Old Town, the central train station and is across from the Faculty of Economics. The complex was completed in December 2019. Design and execution match the quality Van der Vorm seeks for its tenants and portfolio.
We aim to bring and maintain a high level of service and living experience for our tenants in Trio Krakow. We see opportunities especially in the beautiful and green inner area. There are sketches for a nursery with beautiful greenhouses to facilitate meetings between residents. Solar panels will also be added to transform the energy supply.
Seller of Trio Krakow is Catella Real Estate AG. In the acquisition and Due Diligence process, we were advised by CBRE Poland (Commercial), law firm KWKR Konieczny Wierzbicki (Legal & Tax) and Arcadis Poland (Technical).
