As a jury we were able to establish that the entries form a nice palette of the challenges our sector faces as well as the developments it is going through. Kern stands for vibrant cores with a mix of functions, which together are more than the sum of their parts. These entries are wonderful examples of how to make The Good Core together. I am super excited to visit the projects in the coming weeks with our expert and enthusiastic jury to ultimately come up with a winner together.

Hans van Scheerdijk, program manager of Kern: "We warmly congratulate the nominees and wish them much pleasure and success in the project visits that will take place soon!
