Sneak Peek Brainpark Rush
Brainpark in Rotterdam is in transition from business park to mixed-use environment. On one of the most prominent spots, opposite the Erasmus University and the Hogeschool, we are developing a new place to live: RUSH. Brian Martens (as development manager at Van der Vorm Vastgoed responsible for the new building development RUSH) is pleased to show the first Artist Impression. "The building will soon contain 350 affordable housing units for students and young professionals. The first floor will be divided with communal and commercial facilities. We have chosen a hybrid construction: Wood where possible, concrete where necessary. The basement, first floor and cores will be made of concrete, while the rest of the building will consist of sustainable wood construction (CLT and/or Glulam). And of course, the building will eventually be completely energy-neutral by means of a WKO installation and PV panels.
It will take some time to get there. The current office building is vacant as of August 15. In the meantime, until the redevelopment, we offer start-ups and growing companies a temporary, flexible and affordable workplace (office or creative workshop) in a creative and inspiring environment.
