Cooperation between WijWest dichtbij and Van der Vorm Vastgoed
Today the local initiative 'WijWest Dichtbij' was festively opened in Shopping Center De Hoven. At this accessible meeting place, everyone is welcome for help, advice and get-togethers. This initiative fits perfectly with Van der Vorm Vastgoed's ESG (social) strategy, in which we are committed to social sustainability and social responsibility, among other things.
After the welcome speech by Carmen Sjardijn (program director WijWest Dichtbij) and Cor van der Wel (director Werkse!), the location was officially opened by Mayor Marja van Bijsterveldt and Alderman Maaike Zwart. From Van der Vorm Vastgoed, Rene M. Voortmeijer, Dennis Hoek and Jorian Broekmeijer were present.
The aim of WijWest Dichtbij is to help residents of Delft quickly and close to home when they have (social) questions or problems. Visitors can come here with questions about finances, (voluntary) work, parenting, and how they can help others. In Shopping Center De Hoven we offer WijWest Dichtbij better visibility and accessibility to reach and help more residents.
Our contribution in this WijWest Dichtbij social project is in line with Van der Vorm Vastgoed's ESG objectives. WijWest offers people opportunities on the labor market and from that point of view they will also seek cooperation with our tenants in the shopping center to support them with personnel issues. Furthermore, they contribute to the green maintenance around the shopping center and the management of the public toilet in the passage.
