Hotel property Martini Hotel
Groningen, NetherlandsDescription
One of the oldest hotel-restaurants in Groningen was founded in 1871 by some Groningen notables as W.E.E.V.A. (Living and Eating House for All), popularly known as the Groninger Volksgaarkeuken. For years, the restaurant provided food for part of Groningen's population. And later also with housing.
As it stands, the complex consists of a 3-star hotel with 116 rooms, a hostel with 34 rooms for backpackers or groups and the revived W.E.E.V.A. restaurant.
In cooperation with the current operator, the complex will be renovated and expanded with approximately 40 hotel rooms/apartments over the next few years.
