Victor is our digital janitor!

The time has finally come, the first community under the Van der Vorm Living label in the Netherlands is active. A major role in this is played by Victor, our digital janitor packaged as an app. Step by step, we are introducing Victor to our tenants. The kickoff is for the residents of the Torenmolen in Leiden, they will be the first to download the app via the Appstore and via Google Play.

The Torenmolen is our first test object within the new digital environment. After a test period of approximately 1 to 2 months, more complexes will follow in order to be fully digitized by the end of 2024. The functions within the app will be developed step by step in the coming months, partly depending on tenant needs.

Marnix Woertink (Service Employee) says, "With this app, we are able to connect tenants through events and community building. Furthermore, the app gives our tenants insight into rental information and services offered per complex."

Tim Aalders (Portfolio Manager Housing) adds: "It also makes reporting repairs easier because the request can be linked directly to our complex managers. Victor ensures that we communicate better with our tenants and gain more insight into complex qualities and tenant satisfaction."

To introduce tenants to the app and the people behind the app (including complex and community managers), small events are organized per complex to launch the app.

The app was developed in collaboration with Chainels (functionality) and Buro voor de Boeg (look and feel).
