Van der Vorm Vastgoed Groep provides protection against income deprivation

Van der Vorm Vastgoed Groep offers its tenants in new projects protection against a drop in income. As a result, a tenant who temporarily has a lower income does not have to leave their home. For this purpose, the rent is temporarily made dependent on income and, if possible, rent allowance is applied for. The rent reduction and rent allowance is pre-financed by the landlord and therefore takes effect immediately rather than after several months. The advantage for the landlord is that costs can be saved, as there is no need to search for a tenant again, even though the income decline was only temporary.

New scheme available for tenants newly built Harvest project, The Hague

Van der Vorm Vastgoed Groep is applying this new scheme for the first time in the new Harvest project in The Hague. Apartments in many price ranges are available in this yet-to-be-built complex, allowing Harvest residents, who have a structural decline in income, to move to a cheaper home after a bridging period in the complex. The protection scheme is open to younger tenants, who do not have a job or assignment for a while or to older tenants, who have a decline in income when they retire or work less. The NIBUD notes that many new people, who are about to retire, are having difficulty paying their rent. In addition, more and more people have varying incomes, due to being self-employed or on temporary contracts.

Harvest is a new apartment building with 177 apartments on Oude Haagweg in Loosduinen, The Hague. Harvest offers for its residents and for local residents, the possibility of self-sufficient living through vegetable gardens in a communal city garden. Other shared facilities include electric cars, scooters and bicycles, which are charged by solar cells. Harvest is being developed by Van der Vorm Vastgoed Groep For more information visit: www.hureninharvest.nl or the page about Harvest on our website.
