Jumbo supermarket De Korf reopened

As one of the large, nationwide supermarkets in De Korf, Jumbo plays an important role in providing daily shopping in the mall. Today, the Dutch supermarket chain's revamped store reopened to the public amid great interest.

De Korf, dating from the 1970s, is currently undergoing a thorough redevelopment for modernization, sustainability and future-proofing, which we are carrying out together with Nieuw Holland Projectontwikkeling, among others. Among other things, richly detailed new brickwork will provide both the inside, which will be designed as a shopping street, and the outside of the shopping center with a completely renewed timeless look.

The center fulfills an important function in Krimpen a/d IJssel: the great diversity of stores makes it a desirable center for both daily and non-daily purchases. The fully renovated De Korf is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
