A green step in the redevelopment of De Kopermolen
The vegetable garden at De Kopermolen has been given a new location, at the foot of the tiny houses, overlooking the neighborhood park. A special location where neighborhood residents are once again coming together to garden, learn and meet.
We are pleased that this initiative, which began as a temporary infill in a petrified square, has now become part of the broader redevelopment of the area. A great example of how we give greening a structural place in our projects. We consider this very important from an ESG perspective. We are greening the city and promoting biodiversity in places where space is scarce. Equally important: we strengthen the social connection in the neighborhood. Volunteers from the neighborhood enthusiastically take care of this piece of shared outdoor space. And that works, it brings people together!
The redevelopment of De Kopermolen is for us not only about new construction, but especially about the future of the neighborhood. And that we make together, with space for living, business and green.
