Sustainability: more than an energy label

Our housing portfolio has an average A label, and in new projects we go for the highest achievable. In new construction and renovations, we strive to do everything as sustainably as possible.

"People often only think about energy labels, solar panels and heat pumps. However, there are many more ways to contribute to circularity and the use of sustainable materials often receive less attention, while these aspects are crucial for the overall sustainability of a home," says Pim Liebregts, project manager at Van der Vorm Vastgoed Groep.

"Our long-term vision means that apartments typically stay in the portfolio for 15 to 20 years. Kitchens and bathrooms are replaced several times over time. Therefore, it is essential to look at the useful life as well as the circularity of these elements. This is how we work towards a sustainable future for our homes and their occupants. We invest as if it were our own home," said Marnix Woertink. "In addition, of course, the eye wants something too. Enjoy the images of the just completed Tweede Hugo de Grootstraat."
