Cushman & Wakefield and Van der Vorm Vastgoed sign partner agreement to manage retail portfolio

Cushman & Wakefield and Van der Vorm Vastgoed B.V. have signed an exclusive cooperation agreement for the property management of part of Van der Vorm Vastgoed's retail portfolio. This agreement gives Cushman & Wakefield responsibility for three shopping centers with a total area of approximately 16,500 m2 and 80 tenants.

Cushman & Wakefield has been managing part of the retail real estate for Van der Vorm Vastgoed since 2011. What began as a partnership based on individual assets has now grown into a long-term exclusive partnership for the management of three neighborhood shopping centers.

The signing took place during Provada, the largest real estate exhibition in the Netherlands. Dennis Hoek, portfolio manager Retail & Hotels at Van der Vorm Vastgoed, commented, "Cushman & Wakefield is an important cooperation partner that implements our retail vision in our shopping centers. We are pleased to extend our long-standing pleasant cooperation with Cushman & Wakefield within our retail portfolio."

Leon Timmerman, Retail Lead Asset Services at Cushman & Wakefield, added: "With this new agreement, we are redefining our long-standing collaboration with Van der Vorm Vastgoed with the aim of further deepening the partnership. This exclusive partnership for Van der Vorm Vastgoed's retail portfolio will allow us to even better align with their vision and approach."
