Rotterdam, 13 February 2018 - Van der Vorm Vastgoed Group has purchased shopping center De Korf in Krimpen aan den IJssel from Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance, which acts on behalf of one of its institutional clients.

With 41 stores and an area of ​​approximately 8,500 m², De Korf is the most important shopping center in Krimpen aan den IJssel. With the two supermarkets Jumbo and Lidl and a number of specialty stores and fresh food shops, the center has a strong daily assortment and a considerable number of non-daily stores, of which Zeeman and Kruidvat are the largest.

The shopping center will be revitalized in the near future. The starting point is to give the shopping center a new look and feel, whereby the routing and branching will also be optimized.

The purchase fits in with Van der Vorm Vastgoed Group's strategy to strengthen its portfolio through rotation, (re) development, internationalization and diversification.
