Van der Vorm Vastgoed Groep buys residential investment La Praga from Nexity Polska.
Van der Vorm Vastgoed Groep buys 130 apartments purchased with a purpose to long-term rental and will be added to the Van der Vorm Vastgoed Group portfolio.
The La Praga building is located in the Praga Północ district with its unique old industrial atmosphere, on Warsaw's right bank. The district is in full swing with new restaurants, clubs and café clubs and the cultural life is centred around numerous museums, theatres and galleries.
The main nearby point is Centrum Praskie Koneser, while the campuses of SWPS and WSM universities and Google for Startups are places that bring students and (young) entrepreneurs together.
The proximity to the M2 metro line, numerous tram and bus lines and the Eastern Railway Station ensure fast and comfortable transport to every Warsaw corner.
Van der Vorm Vastgoed has been present on the Polish market for 5 years and invests in real estate intended for long-term rental. La Praga is the next significant investment in Poland.
"The investment in La Praga caught our attention because of its practical location, the post-industrial character of the district and access to Warsaw's well-developed public transport system. It is located near our other investment, Szwedzka, one of the development projects completed this month. Nexity pays much attention to sustainable development - it is a factor that we pay serious attention to when expanding our portfolio - says René Voortmeijer, managing director of Van der Vorm Poland."
The contract was signed in Warsaw on December 4 this year. Nexity was supported in the transaction by Dentons, Van der Vorm by the law firm Konieczny Wierzbicki and Arcadis.
