Because of moisture (water) in the crawlspace of a number of our homes on the Troubadour in Rhoon, we started a pilot project in consultation with our tenants. By installing shells in the crawlspace underneath the houses, the moisture will be absorbed naturally. RMS from Bergschenhoek and Fihuma Groep from Rotterdam did the installation. In addition to absorbing moisture, the shells also have a small insulating effect. After the first rain showers the shells did their job well. The pilot will be expanded after the summer vacation.
