A special farewell after 49 years
After no less than 49 years of service, our colleague Sjanie Maan-Schwartz is retiring. She has been part of Van der Vorm for almost five decades. Actually, Sjanie ís a piece of Van der Vorm.
In 1976, Sjanie started at our Heemraadsingel office as an administrative assistant. A lot has changed since then: new premises, colleagues and systems. But Sjanie remained the familiar face in the department all these years. She not only witnessed the development of the company from close up, but also the growth of the family business itself. And in that, she experienced several generations of Van der Vorm. Her commitment, loyalty and down-to-earth approach have always been a natural part of who we are as an organization and as a family.
She participated in the transition to digitization (the days of floppy disks!), moved with us several times and always remained a stable factor on the team.
We are extremely grateful to Sjanie for her years of dedication, her knowledge and her fine, down-to-earth presence on the shop floor. On behalf of all colleagues and the Van der Vorm family: thank you, Sjanie. We will miss you and wish you all the luck and health for this new phase.
